Our Hissmofors facility boasts our most modern planing line, which processes timber into high-quality products for use in the construction and housing industries.
The operations in Hissmofors also include further processing of world-class northern Swedish timber. By leveraging modern technology and a dedicated workforce, the planing mill strives to meet market demand and deliver high-quality products to its customers.
The facility produces exterior cladding, rough-sawn tongue-and-groove boards, rough-sawn panel shutters, strength-graded studs, decking, and battens. The products are available in a wide range of profiles, dimensions, lengths, and treatments. Our cladding can also be painted and is sold as factory-primed or intermediate-coated.
The products are further processed through drying, planing, cutting, strength grading, and impregnation.
In addition, the wood shavings from the planing mill are used to produce high-quality, dust-free bedding for stables and agricultural use. The packaging used for the bales is made from recycled and recyclable plastic, and the clean wood used in the pallets can be recovered for energy.
