Significant improvements at Norra Timber’s sawmill in Kåge are currently underway, with the assembly of a new 300 meter-long timber sorting machine.

”The new timber sorting facility is expected to be ready by the summer and represents a significant step forward for us at Norra Timber. We will be able to optimize our process and ensure the highest quality in our products thanks to our new ability to trace logs individually”, says Henrik Jönsson.

A modernization of the sorting plant intake has already been completed in Kåge, which has resulted in a 10 percent increase in capacity.
